Leonard E. Ireland

Leonard E. Ireland is a Gainesville based attorney whose career has spanned over five decades of complex civil litigation, government law, and appellate practice. He attended North Georgia College for his bachelors in Business Administration before moving on to attend law school at the University of Florida, where he graduated with several honors including Order of the Coif. 

His broad background has included prosecuting and defending insurance-related class action suits, resolving complex commercial and construction disputes, managing land use controversies, and representing clients in family law, personal injury, and appellate matters. His decades of courtroom and advisory experience reflect a deep and consistent commitment to effective, strategic, and ethical legal representation.

Throughout his career, he has actively engaged in professional and civic leadership. His service includes membership on The Florida Bar’s Board of Certification, Designation and Advertising, as well as prior service as Chairman of The Florida Bar’s Continuing Legal Education Committee. He is a former President and Board Member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, a past President of the Gainesville Jaycees, and is an active member of the Florida Law Network.
